News of the blog

One of the guilty pleasures that a website publisher gets to indulge in is poring over the traffic details. It's possible to glean which subjects that readers click on the most, the search terms that attract the most new visitors from Google and even what times of day are the most popular. The year-end statistical report for LA Observed was especially fun to devour. It showed that readership more than doubled during 2005. Just over 2.1 million visitors took in more than five million pages. I posted more about it over there, along with a new snail-mail address for me and the blog.
